This week we took a #PauseForPaws when Jennifer Lafountain came in with the wonderful Dolly!

Dolly is very sweet and completely blind! She was formerly a stray, about six years old, and is just looking for the chance to come home to a loving family.

If Dolly sounds like the perfect pet you’re looking for, or if you still want to search, head over to Heritage Humane Society! Special thanks to Mermaid Books for sponsoring #PauseForPaws!

Maureen Anderson of Tasha's Own hosts The Mother Vine where she takes an entertaining and alternative look at farming and agriculture.  This week's guests are the caretakers of the oldest laboring farm in America, Howard Smith, Sr. and Anthony Smith, Sr. of the Glebe and Archer's Hope.

If you missed it live yesterday, here’s the first #SuperSoundShowcase of 2019! We welcomed in the New Year with the talented Broke Royals (the acoustic version).

To find more of their music, merch, and to learn about their upcoming performances, visit their website.

Tune in on Thursdays at 3:15 pm and listen to WMBG Super Sound Showcase hosted by Robert Hodge and sponsored by CultureFix.

Diana Krell from Heritage Humane Society stopped in again this week and brought along this most amazing terrier mix, Lacey!

Lacey is 5 years old, friendly, curious, and loves treats! She just completed her heart-worm routine and is now good to go home with a wonderful family.

If you’d like to adopt Lacey, or any of the other wonderful pets looking for homes at Heritage Humane Society, stop by Wednesday, January 2nd when they re-open in the New Year!

When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out-because that’s what’s inside. When you are squeezed, what comes out is what’s inside of you.
