Maureen Anderson of Tasha's Own hosts The Mother Vine where she takes an entertaining and alternative look at farming and agriculture.  And since agriculture isn't exclusive to the land, this week's guest is oyster farmer Tommy Leggett of York River Oysters.

Diana Krell, Operations Manager at Heritage Humane Society, came in this week and accompanying her was the fantastic Jack Russell Mix, Amber.

Amber visited the studio a few weeks ago and had a blast. This time was no different as she showed her curious, lovable personality and wandered around the studio, sniffing everything and getting tummy rubs from all the staff. She’s an amazing dog, and still looking for a great home.

If you’d like to adopt Amber, or were looking for a different sort of furry friend, check out Heritage Humane Society’s website for an up to date listing of their sheltered pets awaiting new homes.

Quote of the Day

The greater danger for most of us isn’t that our aim is too high and miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.
