The end of Alzheimer’s starts with you. Join the Alzheimer’s Association on Saturday, October 28 for the Walk To End Alzheimer’s at Matthew Whaley Elementary School in Williamsburg.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Walk To End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
Registration for the Williamsburg walk begins at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event. The ceremony will begin at 9:40 a.m. with the two-mile walk starting at 10 a.m. There is also a one-mile optional route.
Prior to the walk, festivities start on Thursday, July 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Triangle Restaurant in Williamsburg for the Walk To End Alzheimer’s Kickoff. Enjoy live music, great food, and community togetherness. On Sunday, August 13, participate in a fundraising event at Purity Day Spa, where 20% of their proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
